The 1 Year Rule

Hey friends!

This is a cool exercise I found last week from How to be More Productive in Lockdown, about how to plan out what you want to do with your time.

The one year rule is: Asking ourselves the question "In one years time, what will I regret not starting today."

I reckon I will find this quite useful in my schedule as, currently, I  plan out what I want to get done today using (a) what I feel like doing and (b) what I said I want to get done in my weekly review. There is not much wrong with this method, but doing something that will have an effect in the bigger picture is almost always the better option. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to give it a go!

Do you think you will use this? I'd love to know!

Some of my favourite things

Music:

Some of my absolute favourite lofi (my recent blog post on lofi explains the science of lofi).

Quote of the week:

"Carving out a space for yourself online, somewhere where you can express yourself and share your work, is still one of the best possible investments you can make with your time." (Topic of next newsletter?)
